‘Two Lovers’ embody the beautiful textures of the orecchiette from which they were casted in gold plated recycled bronze. A pairing of contrasting sizes; small by the hands of nonna Ester and the bigger by her daughter Maria Grazia. This double earring hangs on the ear lobes firmly in place by a clip back style. They’re lightweight and comfortable too.

~ Amanti ~

This collaboration with PYAR is inspired by the rich culture and colours of Puglia. The golden hues of summer and the warm smells of the traditional Italian kitchen is what Amanti eludes, a collection made by lovers for lovers. The love for food, family, and sacred friendships passed down for  generations; experienced by Melody Tan with mother-daughter duo, nonna Ester Fanny and Maria Grazia Tommasino. Together with their family at Masseria Potenti during the summer of 2019, she experienced the unconditional love, heart and soul of Italy and its people, and especially the meaning of family. Amanti is a collection that is dedicated to the people she met during her journey who embraced her as one of their own. 

Sun dried orecchiette hand made by nonna Ester and Maria Grazia brought back from Puglia, were preserved into moulds by artisans in Bali to use for the casting process then lovingly designed as modern heirlooms. All of the jewellery in Amanti is made of 18k gold plated recycled bronze.
